After much deliberation, and as result of all the many and varied voices expressing the pro's and con's of thought, each endeavoring to provide solutions to the dilemma we American's and the world at large is faced with, and have struggled with in our lifetime, I will endeavor to put into writing, that which seems to be so elusive to the average person.

Let me begin by saying, I believe that a prerequisite to solving all of our problems is an acceptance of the Faith,, in the Pre-existence of a Sovereign God,Who is interested in and involved in the affairs of mankind and nations, (peoples, Ethnos). His purpose for the world, always has been, and remains the same. The People, the Nations have just never been in step with Him, they've always been on a different page, so to speak.

Where-ever I have gone in this great Country of ours, I am always reminded by inscriptions on government buildings, as well as church's; quotes from the Bible, telling me that our founding fathers had this conviction also.

It is evident from what we have heard and that which has transpired in recent years, in our courts of law, and in our governmental functions, as well as our institutions of education, that this concept does not hold first place in the minds of the generation of our day. The American Dream idea of our day, is far removed from the American Dream of the first settlers, (the Pilgrims, the Pioneers), who came and established the first Colonies on these American Shores.

The idea or dream of these Pilgrims, as I was taught, was to have a homeland in which they were free from oppression and dominance, where they were free, first of all to Worship Him, Whom they held to be the one and only true God, Whose Will, was meant to be Sovereign in the affairs of all men. Their thought was, that Spiritual things came first and then the physical, material, came second. Life lived in accordance to GOD'S Will is what came first in their thinking. This concept has been turned around, and everything social, economical, political, or religious, seems to be done out of physical, material expediency, all in accordance with the will of man.

The basic tenet's for proper conduct of life, which to them were found in the Bible, were written into our documents, that we Patriotic Americans, cherish so highly. It is the Spirit of Liberty, and Freedom, and right living, honesty, and decency, integrity, morality, that is embodied in these tenet's, which evoked the Patriotic spirit in the heart and minds of early Americans.

In the God given wisdom and knowledge of these early patriots, they realized that to have a government where man could live free, both from a despotic oppressive political system, and also to be able to live free from religious oppression and domination, they would have to take into consideration, that not all who came to these shores, nor everyone born into this system would be faithful and loyal to the principles or tenets under which it would be structured. The people would be guaranteed these freedoms, but there was necessity of a structure of Law, Patterned after the one structured by God to govern the life of the unruly, and the Law breaker, among the chosen of the children of Israel. Hence we have no Law to regulate man's faith, but was left the freedom to worship God after the dictates of our own heart. They structured the Civil Law to regulate their own lives in the natural realm, and to protect the individual rights of the citizenry in all areas. Thus we are restricted in only these way's, from not infringing on the rights of others, and violating the tenets designed to protect the Moral, Ethical, Natural lives as well as the Spiritual.

Oh, I've heard much in my lifetime by proud, arrogant, modern day law writers, stating that, "We are a nation of people who have agreed to govern ourselves by the rule of law ". By that they mean the letter of the law. And so they manipulate, and mutilate, the law to shape them to fit their own blinded way of thinking. I can't find any written law that brought out the Patriotic Spirit of the American G.I., that caused them to volunteer by the thousands to defend this Freedom and Liberty, while a madman was reeking havoc in the world. It was only when the Socialistic, liberal minded politician began to manipulate the spirit of the American dream, that the western world brought on the fiasco in Korea, Vietnam, and has been continuing down this pathway ever since. It is what brought about outlawing God and Prayer in public schools and in Government functions. And also outlawing the display of religious symbols from public display. When-ever you appease the enemy, and get in bed with them, you must take on some of their ways, and that is what the philosophy has been, in both the spiritual and secular realms of our world society, for the last fifty years or more.

The basic reason for this approach is no different today than at any time in history. It's just that the darkened unbelieving heart of man doesn't want to hold God, and His Way of Salvation in their mind's. They don't want to be reminded of God. They have the idea that they can solve the worlds problems their way, without any interference from God.

You hear the Wise, according to their own reasoning, say, even though there is no basis for it, "Our philosophy is based on the Separation of Church and State." How can this be when our Constitution guarantees the right of every person to worship the one and only true God according to the dictates of His/Her own heart? How can this be when we Americans, pledge allegiance to the,"Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands. One nation under God, with Liberty and Justice for all.? Even our legal tender boldly displayed before the world, proclaims, "In God We Trust ". How can you have a nation United Under God, and at the same time exclude Him from the nations affairs? Exclude Him from the nations affairs and see the blunders that begin to rear their ugly head. Look at what happened to Godless communism and it's destructive influence upon the world. Consider the Godlessness of the action taking place in the world today. It is not the Spirit of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, it is not the Spirit of the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, motivating these actions, in Ireland, Africa, Bosnia, Kosovo, nor our own here in the United States, or the Middle East. It's rather the Spirit of the god of this World, the Evil Spirit of the Devil, deluding the minds of the unbelieving, with the counterfeit humanitarian dogma, which has become the Spirit of the Age in which we live.

Any thing we do is considered all-right, as long as our intention are for the purpose of helping humanity, even though millions are going to their grave, never really being told that the God of Creation, the God of the Universe, has through the Gift of His Son, provided Redemption, and for two-thousand years its been available to all. But unbelieving mankind has refused to accept it, always believing a lie, that he can bring it about another way; his way.

How much plainer can God say it then to illustrate it the way it has been to us. A Public School System, established for the purpose of teaching people how to read and write, using the Bible as the Original Textbook, for the purpose of rearing the next generation to reverence, and worship God, the foundation rock upon which this nation was founded, and then in a few short years exclude Him from this very institution. Observe the havoc that is being wreaked, with-in the very system, where He is being kept out.

Is not history repeating it's-self? In the early days of the First Apostles, commissioned to carry this message to a darkened world, the self styled rulers, with their own Self-imposed God Image, had them arrested and thrown in prison for the very same reason. Speaking in the Name of Jesus and Proclaiming that by virtue of the Power Invested in Him; and by virtue of the resurrection from the dead, He and He alone, is Lord of Both the Dead and the Living, and that there is no other God or Lord but Him. The reason for the arrest? They were proclaiming this message in Public, and in Public Places. These self styled rulers claimed they had the authority to control public domain, and so here began this concept of separation of church and state. Nothing is New Under The Sun. What was the Apostles response? Let me quote quite a lengthy portion of Scripture, for clarification.

It seems that the old adage holds true, " No matter how much things seem to change, they always remain the same."

<"Testimony of Darrell Scott, father of two victims of Columbine High School shooting , Littleton, Colorado, before the Subcommittee on crime, House Judiciary committee, United States House of Representatives--Thursday, May, 27, 1999 2:00 P.M. 2141 Rayburn house office building:>

"Since the dawn of creation there has been both good and evil in the heart of men and of women. We all contain the seeds of kindness or the seeds of violence. (this is a false concept) The death of my wonderful daughter, Rachel Joy Scott, and the death of that heroic teacher and the other children who died must not be in vain. Their blood cries out for answers.

The first recorded act of violence was when Cain slew his brother Abel out in the field. The villain was not the club he used. Neither was it the NCA, the National Club Association. The true killer was Cain and the reason for the murder could only be found in Cain's heart,

In the days that followed the Columbine tragedy, I was amazed at how quickly fingers began to be pointed at groups such as the NRA. I am not a member of the NRA. I am not a hunter, I do not even own a gun. I am not here to represent or defend the NRA--because I don't believe that they are responsible for my daughters death. Therefore I do not believe that they need to be defended. If I believed they had anything to do with Rachel's murder I would be their strongest opponent.

I am here today to declare that Columbine was not just a tragedy--it was a spiritual event that should be forcing us to look at where the real blame lies! Much of that blame lies here in this room. Much of that blame lies behind the finger pointing of the accusers themselves.

I wrote a poem just four nights ago that express my feelings best. This was written way before I knew I would be speaking here today,

Your laws ignore our deepest needs,
Your words are empty air.
You've stripped away our heritage,
You've outlawed simple prayer.
Now gunshots fill our classrooms,
And precious children die.
You seek for answers everywhere,
And ask the question, "WHY" ?
You regulate restrictive laws
Through legislative creed.
And yet you fail to understand
That God is what we need!"

Men and women are three part beings. We all consist of body, soul, and spirit. When we refuse to acknowledge a third part of our makeup , we create a void that allows evil, prejudice, and hatred to rush in and wreak havoc. Spiritual influences were present within our educational system for most of our nation's history. Many of our major colleges began as theological seminaries. This is a historic fact.

What happened to us as a nation? We have refused to honor God and in doing so, we opened the doors to hatred and violence.

And when something as terrible as Columbine's tragedy occurs--politicians immediately look for a scapegoat such as the NRA. They immediately seek to pass more restrictive laws that continue to erode away our personal and private liberties.

We do not need more restrictive laws. Eric and Dylan would not have been stopped by metal detectors. No amount of gun laws can stop someone who spends months planning this type of massacre.

The real villain lies within our own hearts. political posturing and restrictive legislation is not the answers.

The young people of our nation hold the key. There is a spiritual awakening taking place that will not be squelched.

We do not need more religion. We do not need more gaudy television evangelists spewing out verbal religious garbage. We do not need more million dollar church buildings built while people with basic needs are being ignored.

We do need a change of heart and a humble acknowledgment that this nation was founded on the principles of simple trust in God.

As my son Craig lay under that table in the school library and saw his two friends murdered before his very eyes, he did not hesitate to pray in school. I defy any law or politician to deny him that right!

I challenge every young person in America and around the world to realize that on April 20, 1999 at Columbine High School--Prayer was brought back to our Schools. Do not let the many prayers offered by those students be in vain.

Dare to move into the new millennium with a sacred disregard for legislation that violates your conscience and denies your God-given right to communicate with Him. (My sentiments: Added: Anytime--anywhere ).

To those of you who would point your finger at the NRA--I give you a sincere challenge. Dare to examine your own heart before you cast the first Stone!

My daughters death will not be in vain. The young people of this nation will not allow that to happen." End of quote.

You may not agree with every minute point of his theology, but the truth of his statement could not have been said any more clearly.

The basic tenet's of the principles upon which the Governments of the World that have been raised up under God remain the same,the basic tenet's upon which our Government, and it's governing bodies and documents remain the same; although the generation of leaders today don't understand them, and so try to rule by the letter of the law rather than the Spirit of the Law. They don't realize the Biblical premise, that the Letter of the Law, Kill's: It is the Spirit of the Law that gives Life. It was the Letter of the Law , given to Moses to give to the people , that put, The Lord Jesus Christ to death for the whole race of mankind; consequently ; all died in His death to sin, in our behalf. Since,His resurrection, the Spirit of the Law of Life in Christ Jesus, sets all ( who by faith are immersed, placed into, made one with, The Lord Jesus Christ ) Free from the Law of sin and death. Consequently the imperative need of all who would see the Kingdom of God, is, to be Born of His Spirit.

Let us give consideration to this teaching tool,(pedagogue),that was given,to take them (Israel), by the hand and lead them down the pathway of Life, until they would be confronted with the MESSIAH, JESUS, standing there, ( Gal. 3: 24-25, "Therefore the Law has become our Tutor, (Pedegogue), to lead us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith, But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a Tutor). In the fulness of God the Father's time, He stands at the end of the Law; Welcoming every one with open arms, Saying, "Come Unto Me, and I Will Give you Rest, from all your struggle under the Law of condemnation. Rom. 10: 4, "For Christ is the end of the Law for righteousness to everyone who believes."

Deut. 4. 1-20, and 24, and 29-30, and 37, and 39-40,--Read the whole passage but take notice to these pertinent portions, for this was the guarantee of their eternal destiny if they were Obedient to the Faith of His Word.

Ver. 1--"And now, O Israel, listen to the statutes and the judge-ments which I am teaching you to perform, in order that you may live, and go in and take possession of the land which the Lord, the God of your fathers, is giving you. You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor to take away from it, that you keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. Your eyes have seen what the Lord has done in the case of Baal-Peor, for all the men who followed Baal-peor, the Lord your God has destroyed them from among you. But you who held fast to the Lord your God (by faith) are alive today, everyone of you. See, I have taught you statutes and judgments just as the Lord my God commanded me, that you should do thus in the land where you are entering to possess it. So keep and do them, for that is your, Wisdom and your understanding, in the sight of the people who will hear all these statutes and say, 'surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people. For what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as is the Lord our God whenever we call on Him? Or what great nation is there,that has statutes and judgments as righteous as this whole law which I am setting before you today? Only give heed to yourself and keep your soul diligently lest you forget the things which your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life; but make them known to your Sons and your Grandsons. Remember the day you stood before the Lord your God at Horeb, when the Lord said to, 'Assemble the people to Me, that I may let them hear My word's so they may learn to fear Me all the days they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children. And you came near and stood at the foot of the mountain, and the mountain burned with fire to the very heart of the heavens, darkness, cloud and gloom. Then the Lord spoke to you from the midst of the fire; you heard the sound of words, but you saw no form--only a voice. See, He declared to you His covenant which he commanded you to perform, that is, the ten commandments; and He wrote them on two tablets of stone. And the Lord commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that you might perform them in the land where you are going over to possess it. So watch yourselves carefully, since you did not see any form on the day the Lord spoke to you at Horeb from the midst of the fire; lest you act corruptly and make a graven image for yourselves in the form of any figure, the likeness of male or female, the likeness of any animal that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged bird that flies in the sky , the likeness of any fish that is in the waters below the earth. And beware, lest you lift up your eyes to heaven and see the sun and the moon and the stars, all the host of heaven, and be drawn away and worship them and serve them, those which the Lord your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven. But the Lord has taken you and brought you out of the iron furnace, from Egypt, to be a people for His own possession, as today." ver. 24, "For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God." Ver. 29-30, "But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul, When you are in distress and all these things have come upon you, in the latter day's , you will return to the Lord your God and listen to His voice." ver. 37-40."Because he loved your fathers, therefore He chose their descendants after them. And He personally brought you up from Egypt by His great power, driving out from before you nations greater and mightier than you, to bring you in and to give you their land for an inheritance, as it is today. Know therefore today, and take it to your heart, that the Lord, He is God in heaven above and on the earth below; there is no other." So you shall keep His statues and His commandments which I am giving you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may live long on the land which the Lord your God is giving you for all time."

Chap. 6:4-5, "Hear O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord is one! And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." ver. 25, "And it will be righteousness for us if we are careful to observe all this commandment before the Lord our God, just as he commanded us." Chap. 7:6-11, " For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for His own possession out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth. The Lord did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any of the peoples , for you were the fewest of all peoples, but because the Lord loved you and kept the oath which He swore to your forefathers, the Lord brought you out by a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Know therefore that the Lord God, He is God the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His loving kindness to a thousandth generation with those who love Him, and keep His commandments; but repays those who hate Him to their faces, to destroy them; He will not delay with him who hates Him, He will repay him to his face. Therefore, you shall keep the commandment and the statutes and the judgments which I am commanding you today, to do them." ver. 21b, "the Lord your God is in your midst, a great and awesome God." chap. 8:2-3, "And you shall remember all the way which the Lord your God has led you in the wilderness these forty years, that He might humble you, testing you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandment or not. And He humbled you and let you be hungry, and fed you with manna which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that He might make you understand that, man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord."

When they came into the land they were to keep the Passover for the second time and from then on were to celebrate the feast days in the place that God would set up. In the first three-hundred and fifty years, Approximately,.First under Joshua, and then under the Judges,.The place was only temporary, and was moved around, till under David, it was established permanently in Jerusalem and so was the center of their celebrations until, the captivity to Babylon. It was once again re-established on the return under, Ezra, Nehemiah, and Zerubbabel. and remained so until the time of the destruction of the city and the Diaspora under the Roman, Caesar's.

Deut. Chap. 16:5-6, and 16-20. "You are not allowed to sacrifice the Passover in any of your towns which the Lord your God is giving you; but at the place where the Lord your God chooses to establish His name, you shall sacrifice the Passover in the evening at sunset, at the time that you came out of Egypt. And you shall cook and eat it in the place which the Lord your God chooses. And in the morning you are to return to your tents." Ver. 16-20, "Three times in a year all your males shall appear before the Lord your God in the place which He chooses, at the Feast of Unleavened Bread and the Feast of Weeks and at the feast of Booths, and they shall not appear before the Lord empty-handed. Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord your God which He has given you. You shall appoint for yourself Judges and Officers in all your tribes, and they shall judge the people with, Righteous Judgment. You shall not distort justice; you shall not be partial, and you shall not take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts the words of the righteous. Justice and only Justice, you shall pursue, that you may live and possess the land which the Lord your God is giving you."

These are some of the scripture Quotes I mentioned seeing inscribed throughout the Land on public buildings, as well as churches, as well as some institutions of learning. These are the precepts that our founding fathers, used as the foundation of our national philosophy. Of course their understanding of the application is far removed from that of our day.

Let us endeavor to take these precepts that governed the thinking of the early believers into our consideration. The problem lies in not seeing that to the early believers, these precepts, had become Living, Thriving, Power, (dynamics, dynamos ) to them through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Interspersed throughout the writings of the Prophets, God kept reminding the people that He was speaking to them in Parables, Metaphors, Simile, dark sayings, types, and shadows. The reason being, that it has always been God's purpose that only people of True Faith, would understand Him. This manner of speaking became known to the believers as, The Logos, Living Word Pictures, Types, and Shadows, all pertaining to the fulfillment of them in Jesus Christ. Heb. 7:28-8:5, and 9:23-25, "For the Law appoints men as high priest, who are weak, but the word of the oath , which came after the Law, appoints a Son, made perfect for ever. Now the main point in what has been said is this: we have a high priest, who has taken His seat at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, a minister in the sanctuary, and in the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man. For every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices; hence it is necessary that this high priest also have something to offer. Now if he were on earth, He would not be a priest at all, since there are those who offer the gifts according to the Law; who serve a, copy and shadow of the heavenly things just as Moses is warned by God when he was about to erect the tabernacle; for, 'SEE," he says, 'THAT YOU MAKE ALL THINGS ACCORDING TO THE PATTERN, which was shown you on the mountain." and 9:22-26, "And according to Law, one may almost say, all things are cleansed by blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness,(remittance). Therefore it was necessary for the, copies, of the things in the heavens be cleansed with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. For Christ did not enter a holy place made with human hands, a mere copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; nor was it that he should offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the holy place, year by year with blood not his own. Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now once at the consummation He has been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself." Chap. 10:14-15a, "For by one offering, He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified. And the Holy Spirit also bears witness to us."

The Passover was and still is kept by the Jew meticulously, until this day. But it was on the night of the, Last Passover, the Last Supper, The Communion, when the New Covenant was instituted by Jesus with the believers, Communing around the Passover table. All that was taking place that night on through the crucifixion, was all spoken of throughout the centuries, and culminated in those events. John 1:29,"The next day he, John , saw Jesus coming to him, and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!" 1Cor. 5:6-8, "Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven, (sin, unbelief, false teaching) leavens the whole lump of dough? Clean out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed. Let us therefore celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth." 1Cor. 11:23-32, The Apostle Paul is writing: "For I have received from the Lord that which I also delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it, and said, "This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me." In the same way the cup also, after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me." For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup you proclaim the Lord's death until He comes. Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. But let a man, (person) examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For he who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself, if he does not judge the body rightly. For this reason many among you are weak and sick, and a number sleep. But if we judged ourselves rightly, we should not be judged . But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord in order that we may not be condemned along with the world."

The Cup, speaks of His Life, His blood, Lev. 17:11, and 14, "For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have, Jehovah; God;, given it to you on the altar to make an atonement, (Covering as well as a payment ) for your souls; for it is the blood by reason of the life that makes atonement," ver. 14, "For as for the life of all flesh , its blood is identified with it's life."

The Unleavened Bread, the Bread of the Presence, the Shew-bread, speaks of His Body, which when assimilated, broken and partaken of, by Faith, speaks, of none other then the Lord Jesus Christ, the Sinless Son of the Living God,the believers Savior, and Lord. He becomes by Faith our very Life. John 6:40, and 44-51, "For this is the will of My father, that every one who beholds the Son, and believes in Him, may have eternal life; and I Myself will raise him up on the last day." ver. 44-51, "No one can come to Me, unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day. It is written in the prophets, 'And they shall all be taught of God. Every one who has heard and learned from the Father, comes to Me. Not that any man has seen the Father, except the one who is from God, He has seen the Father. Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life. "I Am the Bread of Life." This is the bread which comes down out of heaven; so that one may eat of it and not die. I AM THE LIVING Bread, that came down out of heaven; if any one eats of this bread, he shall live forever; and the bread also which I shall give for the life of the world is MY flesh."

GOD IS SPIRIT, and he is endeavoring to get a natural, intellectual, physical, race of men/women, to know Him who is Spirit. All of this confrontation, of God with man, is being acted out on the Stage of Life. Just like a Grand Pageant, He has been using material, physical, Prop's, to convey Spiritual Truths, which can only be, Apprehended, grasp, by faith. The Prophet's of God to an extent grasp them. The Lord Jesus Christ, taught and Lived them out before the eyes of the world. The Apostles all grasp them and taught them, and wrote about them.

They taught, not about Ritual's, Ceremonies, Lavish display's of pageantry, or religion as such. They all taught, A Person. Not , about Him, but actually taught a Person Living in their Midst. The Cloud, that Shadowed, (shaded), from the blazing sun by day; The Pillar of Fire, that gave them light and warmth at night, were Props; giving evidence of the Supernatural, Presence and Power of the Living God being Personally involved in their affairs. The Bread, Manna, Water, the Rock from which it gushed, all spoke of God the Messiah, God the Savior, who dwelt in their midst. 1Cor. 10:1-15, "For I do not want you to be unaware, brethren, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea; and all ate the same spiritual food; and all drank the same spiritual drink, for they were drinking from a spiritual rock which followed them: and the rock was Christ.--Nevertheless with most of them God was not well pleased; for they were laid low in the wilderness. Now these things happened as examples for us, that we should not crave evil things, as they also craved. And do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written, 'The people sat down to eat and drink, and stood up to play.' Nor let us act immorally, as some of them did, and twenty-three thousand fell in one day. Nor let us try the Lord, as some of them did, and were destroyed by the serpents. Nor grumble, as some of them did, and were destroyed by the destroyer. Now these things happened to them as an example, and they were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come. Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall. No temptation has overtaken you but as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able; but with the temptation will provide a way of escape also, that you may be able to endure it. Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry."

In the enlightenment our founding fathers had, they realized enough to know that Jesus Christ was the Jewish long awaited Messiah, and all their hope was in His finished and complete Salvation. So much so was their assurance of hope anchored in Him, that they could defy the Monarchy that was endeavoring to suppress their freedom of worship, and cause them by force to align themselves with a dogma they could not embrace without putting their eternal destiny in jeopardy.

In order to establish and maintain these great ideals,the Revolutionary War was fought, and thousands who held these ideals most dearly gave their lives so that what is embodied in our Declaration of Independence, our Constitution, and our Bill of Rights might become the heritage for future Americans. And so they Penned these Word's, "We the people in order to form a more perfect Union," Let me paraphrase; "Agree to pool our United efforts and resources, and establish these essential services, and entities, which will provide for the needs of the nation as a whole". All the thought of any oppressive Monarchy with it's privileges, and elite prestige, was non existent. Liberty and freedom was recognized and extended to all, "That all were and are, created equal, and there was to be No Privileged Class. What's happened to the thinking of the American Mentality? What happened to the underlying spirit that caused the inscription to be engraved at the base of the Grand Lady standing at the entrance to our shores? "Send us your huddled masses," Our fore-fathers came but it was seemingly with an altogether different thought in mind. They came to these shores to be free, and, To become Free Americans,: I have always understood that to mean, "Now we as a united people assumed a New Identity, the Old Ethnic distinction was put off, laid aside, and now, 'We are one nation under God." Americans of different descent, but AMERICANS! Not German Americans, or Irish Americans, or Mexican or Latino American, or African, or Black American, or Asian Americans; but, Americans of many and varied descent.

Our Forefathers, fought the Civil Was in order to maintain this Union, and to do away with oppression. These Freedoms, cannot be Legislated, they can only be established and maintained, When the Sovereignty of God is Believed, and held as a, Prerequisite, to all else. And only He can establish, and declare the right and acceptable Way of Life. This He has done Two-thousand years ago and No Man, and I repeat, No Man, has the right or the authority, or the Spiritual Wisdom or Understanding to change that, or to say there is more than the One Way that He has established.

Knowing all the First Covenant, had been speaking of, was fulfilled in Jesus Christ, and they were, (that is the True Believers,) among them were sharing in all the benefits of the blessings of Eternal Life, they established, Thanksgiving Day as a day of giving thanks to the Lord, for prospering and sustaining them in the Physical blessing of life. They established Christmas and Easter as the two days on which all would be reminded, of the Three Great Events that God had kept and fulfilled. These ushered in and culminated the Work of God in providing Redemption and Salvation for them. These Event as all should be aware of are, The Birth of God's Son the Redeemer, The Crucifixion, where Remittance from sin's condemnation, and judgment took place. And The Resurrection, where deliverance from all bondage to the hold of sin and death, were for the Believer. The day's in themselves are not holy, the event they commemorate, are, and The Person who acted in the believers behalf is, He, who is Holy, and should be worshipped, on those day's and every day. On the day of Pentecost,(fifty days later) the Holy Spirit was sent into the world to place God's seal upon His purchased possession. The earnest of God's inheritance.

Independence Day, or the Fourth of July was instituted and has continued to be kept to celebrate all that our founding fathers saw to be our national deliverance from all oppressive bondage. But notice what is happening in our day, under the hand of the Journalistic Media. The effort to re-establish royalty in our thinking, all of which is based on a Myth. I commend the New York Times, for not getting caught up in the frenzy. On rare occasion even they can have the right approach, to false concepts.

I am writing this at a time when the nation in part is agonizing over, the, Why of things they don't understand; and as usual I don't hear anyone giving them the Truth of what they need to hear. With all that has happened in our nation and in the world in the last several years, and with all interviewing, of so called experts, or voices of authority, that has gone on, and all the questions that have been asked in order to gain answers, and all the rhetoric offered in church services, and political forums, I haven't heard one person, Articulate The Truth of the Message, that the nation really has need of hearing. I know there must be some, some-where out there, because God is Faithful, it must be that they are not the ones being heard, because once again mankind as a whole don't want to hold God in the center of their thoughts, At Least Not The God and Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and presenting Him as our Nation and the Worlds Only Hope.

In the face of suffering and loss, we as a nation with it's Heritage, if we have any Hope of Eternal Life at all, should be reminded constantly as the Word of God will do, if we're paying attention to it. 1-Thess. 4:13-14, "But we do not want you to be un-informed, brethren, about those who are asleep,(in death), that you may not grieve, as do the rest who have no Hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus." 2Cor.7:10, "For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to SALVATION; but the sorrow of the world produces death." 1Cor. 15:16-20, "For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised; and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins. Then those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If we have only hoped in Christ in this life, we are of all men most to be pitied. But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruit of those who are asleep."

In the midst of all of this we are reminded by the News Media, that this is the week we Americans placed a man on the Moon. Once again while we are showering ourselves with Plaudits, for our great accomplishments, and our contribution to the race of man, there is not one mention of God. The question is asked repeatedly throughout the Bible narrative. "What do you have, that you did not receive, and if you received it, why then are you acting as though you didn't. Acting as though you did it all yourself?" It just shows the lack in our day, of the understanding, of the founding fathers, that everything that we have as people, that is good, has been given to us by a Benevolent and Loving and Caring God. And just as God honored the Faith of Abraham, and kept His Covenant to the Children of Israel, so God has been honoring the Faith of our founding fathers. But from all indication, by the course our nation is on, under the Corrupt Administration on all levels of Government, our days ahead are going to remain just as bleak, morally, ethically, and spiritually as they are at the present. Another statement of Scripture is, "Great Gain, (Materially ), is no measure of Godliness." This statement was written to the Church, but it is applicable to nations or people as a whole I believe.

Returning to the tenets our forefathers established, their forms of worship were as they were in the early church. They met in the out doors, in the fields, on river banks, in the woods. The building they built , were simple structures, just for the peoples protection from the elements. They knew and understood that "God doesn't dwell in Building made by human hands". They knew and understood and endeavored to structure their lives on the premise that they, the Body of Believers, were the Temple of the Living God. Just as history repeats it's self, somewhere along the way, Secularism took over, and Ethnicity, people power replaced Spiritual Power. And Denominationalism swept aside oneness in Christ in the Church, as well the unity of the American Patriotic Spirit. The Church became fractured, and the nation it is evident has become the same. Are we any different than the Church at Corinth. Hear Paul the Apostle as he chided them for letting divisions come in and fracture the body. 1Cor. 3:1-7, "And I brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual men, but to men of FLESH, as to babes in Christ. I gave you milk to drink, not solid food; for you were not yet able to receive it. Indeed, even now you are not yet able, for you are still fleshly. For since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly, and are you not walking like mere men? For when one says, "I am of Paul", and another, "I am of Apollo's", are you not mere men? (insert your own ethnic differences),. What then is Apollo's? And what is Paul? Servants, through whom you believed, even as the Lord gave opportunity to each one. I planted, Apollo's watered, but God was causing the growth . so then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth."

We've heard a great deal in recent years about returning to our Roots. But as Americans, either transplanted or indigenous, our Roots are here in American Soil. As Believers, Jew or Gentile, we were all Grafted into the Cultivated Olive Tree, Who's Roots are embedded in the Rock Christ Jesus, and Life Flowing from the Root is what supports us, not the other way around. Read Roman's Chapter 11:.

In accordance with the precepts of governing as our founding fathers saw it, so our form of Government is structured. As we read in the Scripture quoted from Deuteronomy, one of the first action was to set up a Judicial System. And as God had stated so emphatically to Moses and the Israelites, "Justice and Justice only, they were to pursue." What a far removed concept this is from what is being carried on under our so-called Justice System, as we the ordinary citizen has opportunity to observe in recent years, and is continuing unabated everyday. We've observed our legislatures, when faced with the prospect of meting out justice in the highest body in the nation, allowing themselves to be bribed politically, and sold their vote, (those who voted against impeach-ment), in the chance that they would gain the vote of their constituents in the up coming election. As one commentator put it, "They held their finger up to the political wind to see which way it was blowing and sold their vote, in hopes of gaining a vote at the Poll's."

In some interviews held on nation wide forums, by some of the leading journalist and program hosts, some very revealing biased and distorted thinking was put before the nation by some so-called leading authorities of our day.

The ignorance of the truth of the Gospel that has been displayed by these religious and political, and educational leaders has been appalling. It wouldn't be as dangerous if they only presented themselves as ,religious, but to lay claim to being Believers in God's Good News, concerning His Son Jesus Christ, and the Gift of New Life, through Him, this is where they become dangerous to the eternal destiny of thousands of Souls.

Let us consider for a moment some of the questions and the answers that were given. The Gist of the question was, "How can there be this double standard, and endeavor to defend the disparity between the two as a professing believer? The person who is serving as minister in the church we see him going in and out of carrying his bible, replied." He is departmentalizing, he is categorizing, his life, between Public or Private. Is this not the definition of a Hypocrite. Doesn't this , so called minister know the teaching of Jesus, whom he claims to be a spokes person in behalf of? He needs to read the account in Matthew's Gospel, Chap. 6:21-24, "For where your treasure is,there will your heart be also, The lamp of the body is the eye; if therefore your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness! No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will hold to the one and despise the other. YOU CANNOT SERVE GOD AND MAMMON". You cannot be a believer and yield to the sinful desires of the Flesh; and God in Jesus Christ at the same time. For one of His , the Lord Jesus Christ does not tolerate a double standard! Either you are Living and Feeding the appetite of the old sinful fallen nature, which is under the condemnation of sin and death, or you have put that off to death and received a new Life in it's place. Which life, is lived by faith in complete dependency upon the Holy spirit, Who dwells within, to provide the dynamic to do so. If you don't know this preacher, your just one of the Blind, leading the Blind.

Another question was asked for a clarification of the diversity among the many voices and why so much contention in our midst.. The response was to this effect, "Well you have to realize, we live in a, Multi-culture, Multi-Ethnic, Multi-racial, Multi-Religious, diversified society. SO WHAT IS NEW IN THE WORLD? Has this not been the case since the dividing of families into different ethnic, Multi-Language groups soon after the Flood, and it hasn't been any different any where in the world ever since. And yet the message of God to the world has been the same ever since. It makes no difference whether your are before a gathering made up of every color, race, creed, or culture; the message of God to the world has always been the same, and has been all summed up by the Lord Jesus Christ, when He stated. John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I Am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life; NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER (GOD) , BUT THROUGH ME." 'Either you believe Him to be the Son of God, the Messiah, and He spoke the Word of God, or you don't ! But one thing is for sure, He was here two thousand years ago, and it was recorded for all to hear, and observe, AND NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE OR WHAT YOU BELIEVE; YOU CAN'T CHANGE IT, IT'S WRITTEN AND SEALED IN HIS BLOOD.

BUT YOU CAN BELIEVE HIM AND BENEFIT FROM HIS GIFT TO THE WORLD.

Just by chance that the distinction Jesus makes isn't plain and clear, let us listen to the Apostle Paul as he so ably under the Inspiration of the Holy Spirit, expounds the two differences; Gal. 5:16-25, "But I say, Walk by the Spirit, and you will not,(imperative) carry out the desires of the flesh. For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh, for these are in opposition to one another, so that ,you, may not do the things that you please. But if you are led by the Spirit you are not under Law. Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are, immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealously, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissension's, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarned you just as I have forewarned you that those who practice such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God." (in his letter to the Ephesians he concludes a list like this with, Eph.. 5:6,-7, "Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things, the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them.") Gal. 5:22-25, "BUT THE FRUIT OF HE SPIRIT IS LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITH-FULLNESS, GENTLENESS, SELF-CONTROL; Against such things there is no Law. Now the flesh of those who are Christ's, has been Crucified, with it's passions and desires. If, we,(believers),live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit."

( The reason why I quote this last verse in this manner is to clarify the translation from leaving the impression that we, the believers must do the crucifying), Hear Paul as He expresses it this way, Gal. 6:14-16, "But may it never be that I should boast, except in the CROSS, of our Lord Jesus Christ, THROUGH WHICH THE WORLD HAS BEEN CRUCIFIED TO ME, AND I TO THE WORLD. For neither is circumcision anything, nor un-circumcision, but a New Creation. And those who walk by this rule, peace be upon them, and upon the True Israel, of God,"

Another question was asked; "What about the Idea of,Atonement. Doesn't this imply a need of a payment to be made to atone for our sin? Again, not a very intelligent answer was given, revealing the lack of, Spiritual Knowledge and Understanding of the Gospel of the New Covenant. You see, Atonement, is a First Testament Teaching, it is a Jewish Word, given to them by God in their approach to Him. It signifies two things. A Covering of Blood Sprinkled on the, Lid or Covering of the Ark of the Covenant, the Mercy Seat which contained the Two Tablets of the Law, written by God on the tablets of Stone. And the Price that was paid was the Life of the Offering, in substitution for the Life of the offer'er. Though their sins were as Scarlet, they were hidden from the Eyes of God, by the blood which was the same in appearance. The covering or Lid of the Arc, over which the Presence of God was manifest by the Shekinah Glory, was called the Mercy Seat,(Propitiatory). God looked down on the Worshiper, represented by the Priest, and on the basis of the expression of faith shown in the offering, He showed Mercy toward the sinner, and his/her life was spared for another year, till the next day of atonement. One of the three days,(times),designated, when they were called upon to afflict their soul's, a sign of repentance, and receive a covering for their sin for another year. This meeting place, or Mercy Seat was as the name implies also called a Propitiatory, and in the writings of the New Testament, The Lord Jesus Himself is called the, "PROPITIATION FOR OUR SINS". So you see much more than just a payment made by man is implied. In Lev. 17:11 God proclaims that He would be the one to make the Payment and on the basis of it, when received by faith ,He, God would meet any believer, in the Person of His Son, and would count the believer,Justified. Jesus Christ would be the Remittance for our sin. No longer just a covering, but complete removal of all,condemnation, guilt, penalty, and power of the transgression, once for all people, for all time, for all sin, when received and lived by faith. "The Justified One Shall Live by Faith".

The word atonement was only used sparingly, and only by those not well versed in the enlightenment of Gospel, until the time of the million man march, when the leaders brought it to the for front once again. Any good Hebrew and Greek word study book or a good concordance will give you a clear insight into the difference in understanding. You see the Islamic,the Muslim,the followers of Mohammed,like the descendants of Ishmael,and Esau,before them refused to accept that the covenant, of thePromised Messiah,was made with their father Abraham, and then through Isaac and Jacob, and fulfilled in Jesus Christ. Consequently the only teaching any group of people have, until about six-hundred A.D. pertaining to redemption or salvation is from the Jewish Bible, our Bible, the Believers Bible.

It seems that every group of people,(except,The true believing Jew; and the True Believing Gentile), although they won't accept the complete Bible Narrative concerning God's prescribed Way of Salvation,nevertheless, lift out portions of it and incorporate them erroneously into false forms of their false piety, and worship.

If, or rather since we, (if only in an abstract way) can accept that there is the reality of God all around us, and that He has spoken to the world by what ever means, and that he has spoken to the world in these last day's, Heb. 1:1-3.--And that when His Son was here and Spoke the Word of God to the then known world, some people were offended, because it made them uncomfortable, they were convicted in their own hearts, but this didn't deter Him from telling them exactly what their need was, and the solution for it. And the Believers of that day weren't deterred from quoting and writing down His Word and Work's, because some people were offended. And since,(If) we truly believe, and as a result have the witness of His Spirit Within, why then should we not speak the truth to the world of what it's needs are, and the solution for it's needs ?
Let us consider once again the word's of Paul, Rom. 3:3-4,

"What then? If some did not believe, their unbelief will not nullify,(make Void),the faithfulness of God, Will it ? (Preposterous), May it never be! Rather, let God be found true, though every man be found a liar, as it is written. Rom. 9:6-8. but it is not as though the Word of God has failed. For they are not all Israel who are descended from Israel; neither are they all children because they are Abraham's descendants',but,'Through Isaac your descendants will be named.' That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the Promise are regarded as descendants.

One last thought in conclusion to this portion: In this day of seemingly a need for idolizing, celebrities of every kind, let us take a new look at ourselves, America; also Christians in America. Since the day's of World War Two, and the onset of the disillusionment of the young people of our nation, we have had one Hero after another, of all types,and character. And each time the celebrity or hero or idol, has fallen through one circumstance or another. And each time the cry goes up, Why! ? How could this happen ? Why did God cause this to happen? Since God had broken the back, the oppressive hand of man maderoyalty, and established a nation based on the tenets we have described, is it conceivable to think that a Faithful God will just abdicate His Sovereignty over this nation without doing every conceivable thing to awaken the populace to the trend they are being led astray into. We all are familiar with the old saying, "The best laid plans of mice and men, are bound to go Awry."

In the confrontation of one journalist on the White House Press Core, in the midst of the confusion and bedlam of the last several years, "Mr. President! What is your response to what appears as though, Every things is going right down the drain?"

Hey you Americans and particularly you professing Christian Americans, are you just going to stand idly by and watch your American dream, your American Heritage as a God Honoring, Jesus Christ,believing people, go down the drain and not regain our dignity and moral and ethical leadership in the world to the Glory of the Living God. The God in Whom we profess before the Whole World, inscribed on all of our Currency--"In God We Trust! There is a contradiction at the present, when He is excluded from all of our public places and Prayer is denied.

This trend cannot be reversed, or can it be curtailed, by a whole host of New Law's. You cannot legislate, Ethics, Morality, or Spirituality.

Can it not be seen clearly that God is showing you that all your idol's have feet of clay, like all the rest of us, and if they have special talents, that God is the one who should receive the Glory. What is the Chief end of man? TO GLORIFY GOD!

Why should there be the fear in the minds of people that all the off beat groups and cults will be espousing their dogmas? In the same approach as Elijah of old let us confront them with the Truth of God, 1Kings 18:21, "And Elijah came near to all the people and said, "How long will you hesitate between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, (all your false idol's), follow him.:" But the people did not answer him a word."

If your God in Jesus Christ has conquered, (for you) sin, hell, death and the grave, then, "Let the Redeemed of the Lord Say So." And all the true believers , said, AMEN!
