God invited men into His Rest when He had completed His creative Work, He again invited men into His rest when He led Noah and his family from the Arc and settled them in dried out  earth. He again invited men to enter into His rest when He covenanted with Abraham, He again invited His chosen people under Moses's leadership and again under Joshua, when He led them into the land. Last and finaly Jesus, His Son, the Mesiah invited all who would believe in HIm to enter into His finished work of redemption, and Rest in the Power of His Resurrected Life.

In the space of time covered in a very short narrative, but where in Gods time frame, He made Covenant with Abraham, concerning the land on which He had placed His Name, and on which He intended Abrahams offspring to live, a land centered at the crossroads of the great land mass of the Earth, God, called a man and from this mans offspring, He called a people, Israel.

Included in the Covenant Provisions, was The Messianic Hope, just as He had expressed to the woman, Eve, after the disobedient act of her husband and her complicity in it. In accordance with His Promise to Abraham, after informing him that his offspring would spend approximately Four Hundred and Thirty Years in bondage to a nation that did not honor Him, the true God, but worshipped numerous gods the foremost of which was the Golden Bull. Jehovah, made provision for them to be set free from slavery, selecting Moses, to be His servant to represent Him to the people. Exodus 4: 16 and 7:1.

Everything embodied in the Covenant Promises of God, starting with the First Promise made to the woman, just after their disobedient acts., have their fulfillment in the Inheritance, under the New Covenant, Bequeathed to the True Believer, in Jesus Christ.

All of these Covenant Promises, have their foundation in the Creation account.

The Sum and Substance of all that is implied in the Sabbath, Rest of God, in both the Physical and Spiritual Realms, have their consummation in The Rest, which can only be realized in the Finished Work of, The Lord Jesus Christ. Hebrews 3: 5-4:16.

The Eternal Covenant was in place, and would remain in place, for God even took an Oath upon two immutable things, His Name, which speaks of His Sovereignty and His Deity, both of which are unchangeable.

The Covenant, or Testament was Ratified, or put into force, upon the death of the One Who made it, The one who made was none other than the, The Living Word of God, who became flesh, The Lord Jesus Christ. Hebrews 9: 6-22.

At the time of their emancipation, The Law was given to Moses, as Gods Mediator, and came in along side of the Covenant of Promise, but didnt effect the slightest change in it. When Moses came down from the Mountain and repeated all the Words of The Law, that Jehovah, Their God, had given him, their response, was thus, which was recorded Exodus, 24: 3b and 7b, and all the people answered with one voice, and said, all the words the Lord has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient. But God knowing before hand that they wouldnt, responded, Oh; that there would be such a heart in them. Deut. 5: 26-29.

Incorporate in the law was one stipulation that had a direct bearing on the labor of God in the creation, and is, The Rest from all His labors on the Seventh day, Exodus 31: 12-18, "And the Lord spoke to Moses saying, But as for you, speak to the sons of Israel, saying, You shall surely observe My sabbaths; for this is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you. Therefore you are to observe the sabbath, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it will surely be put to death, for whoever does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from among the people. for six days work may be done, but on the seventh day there is a sabbath rest, holy to the Lord, whoever does any work on the sabbath day, shall surely be put to death. So the sons of Israel shall observe the sabbath, to celebrate the sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between Me and the sons of Israel forever, for in six the Lord made heaven and earth, but on the seventh day He ceased from labor, and was refreshed. And when He had finished speaking with him upon Mount Sinai, He gave Moses the two tablets of the testimony, tablets of stone, written by the finger of God".

When God has spoken, it is always wise to take special notice to what it is that He has had to say. Take notice, The Law was given to Moses, to administer in His, (Gods),behalf, over the House of Israel, and their descendants, as a perpetual remembrance from generation to generation, continually, until God, Himself would make a change, which He brought about, when He Instituted the New Covenant, which had been foretold seven hundred years before, Jeremiah 31: 27-34, and was put into effect by God, in The Person of His Son, The Lord Jesus Christ.

Again, one must compare scripture with scripture, in order to come to the right understanding of the Truth of it. Notice also, Exodus 20: 8-11, & 23: 10-12.

The Creation on The Seventh Day In Gods Sight was Very Good, Genesis 1: 31, "And God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning the sixth day". Chap. 2: 1-3, "Thus the heavens and the earth were completed and all their hosts. And by the seventh day God completed His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made. This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord made the earth and the heavens".

Nothing could be added to it, nor could anything be taken away, that would have made it any better. It was sufficient in itself, to propagate and sustain itself, and would supply the needs of everything upon the earth, for all time. Man has brought nothing into the world, and man can take nothing out of it.

The creation was brought into being by God alone, without any outside help. Hebrews 11: 3."By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible".

Incorporate in the creation were all the life giving properties, that were necessary to sustain it, and that each species could reproduce its self and there-by continue to sustain itself right on throughout the centuries until today. The only time this self sustaining ability changed, was when God brought His power to bear upon it. It continued under this God fulfilling purpose until a change was necessary according to Gods assessment of its condition, (i,e, death and the flood).

Counting time according to Biblical genealogy, approximately Two thousand Years of time pass between Adam and Abraham. From the covenant promise of God to Abraham, and the giving of the covenant of law to the children of Israel, through Moses, is approximately Five Hundred, plus a few years. Incorporate in the Law, God spells out the way of faith, defining the way of life they were meant to live. The children of Israel misconstrue the intention of the law, and turn it into a System of Works, not any different than the nations of the world have done. It takes the teaching of Jesus and the Apostles instruction to the churches, to gain this understanding. Jehovah-God, had declared to Moses that certain things happened to them, so they would learn,Deut. 8: 2-3."That man does not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeded out of the mouth of God".

Jesus repeated this statement to His followers, and the Apostle Paul, instructs believers to understand that, "Through the Law comes the knowledge of sin". Also the Law was a Pedagogue, a School Master, to take Israel by the hand and lead them down the Path of Life, to Jesus The Christ, Gods, Messiah. In the letter to the Church at Rome, he writes. Chapter 3: 28-31, "For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the Law. Or is God the God of the Jews only? Is He not the God of the Gentiles also? Yes of the Gentiles also--if indeed God is one- and He will justify the Jew by faith, and the Gentiles through faith. Do we then nullify the Law through faith? May it never be! On the contrary, we establish the Law".( i.e. by faith ).

All would have become a living reality, if they would have followed His leading and directing, and providing for them, everything necessary to result in a life of Rest and Peace in the land of His Promise. All of the life giving and sustaining properties were embodied in His Word and could only be realized by a faith of such a quality, the same quality of faith as their father Abraham. (Faith of this Quality, exercised in behalf of the Word of God always produces New Life). And so the Law was given to guide them along the long pathway of life, until Jesus, The Messiah would come, and provide for them as well as all the world, A Life of Rest, and Peace, the only Life that God has ever approved of. Matt. 11: 25-30, "At that time Jesus answered and said', "I praise Thee, O Father, Lord of the heaven and earth, that Thou didst hide these things from the wise and intelligent and didst reveal them to babes. Yes, Father, for thus it was well pleasing in Thy sight and no one knows the Son, except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. Come unto Me, all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My load is light".

We dont read anything more, pertaining to The Rest of God, until the giving of the Law, except, when the Arc is completed, and God invites Noah and his family into the Arc, and to trust in it to sustain them during the stay in the Arc. They Rest in faith in Him and are saved through the flood. Heb. 11: 7, By faith Noah became Heir of the Righteousness that, The Lord Jesus Christ Would perfect for all Believers for all time.

God had invited Adam to Enter into His Rest, and enjoy the provisions of life, in the abundance and goodness in Gods wonderful Creation. Adam failed, and forfeited his God appointed position as Lord over Gods creation, for the position of a Field Hand, who would have to work for his living ever after. Israel experienced, perhaps the most humiliating consequence of this action when years later as Gods Chosen through Abraham, they would serve as slave laborers.

I have said that it is important to give heed when God speaks. But when God repeats Himself several times, it then behooves us to consider this to be very important. This He has done pertaining to Gods Sabbath Rest, when speaking to the People Israel. The People evidently never were willing to give up their paltry efforts and Rest in Gods Provision for them. It seems that we Gentiles are more guilty of this attitude of unbelief than they. For there isnt a group of people anywhere, that hasnt designed a regimen of external rules and regulation, to be imposed upon one another, externally, in order to appear Pious and religious., and there-by be duped into thinking they are serving and living for the Lord. Refresh your memory, This was for Israel, Exodus 20: 8-11-And Exodus 31: 12-18,

The Rest for the Believer is in, The Lord Jesus Christ, and His finished work in The New Creation, in Himself. John 5: 17, "But He answered them,My Father is working until now, and I Myself am working". God the Father had to take up the work of bringing in a New Creation, immediately after man desecrated the first, and, Gal. 4: 4, "But when the fullness of time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, in order that He might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons".

Oh, Professing believer, take note of the fact that it has alwayss been Gods provision of the all sufficient rest, that is held out to us gratuitously, and not something we work out through self effort. The importance is not in the day itself, but in the Good Work God performed in the time preceding the day on which He rested and invited man to enter into that rest with Him. Everything necessary to sustain Adam, in both the physical and Spiritual, was offered to him, He chose the physical, the material, and missed the real meaning of the Life, which was Spiritual, and thereby lost his position of fellowship with God, as well as his position as Lord over Gods creation. He brought himself, and all his posterity down to a life of hardship, that has consumed the the human race. From that time on until now, mankind in the majority has concentrated on physical, material, intellectual, and has missed gaining the real meaning and understanding, of Life in the Spirit of God. Consequently God and all His provisions for life have been missed by unbelieving mankind, because of a mind that doesnt work the way God meant mans mind to work.

Only the One Born of Gods Spirit, The Spiritually minded person, will ever regain his position of Lordship over the affairs of this world system, as was manifest to the world, in the Person of The Lord Jesus Christ. Read the Creation account again and see the position Adam held before his act of disobedience, and the position he was relegated to after he makes his choice. in this position of servitude, he is estranged from God from here on, and the only access he has to God, is when God comes to him, and seeks him out. Had God not come to him, he would have no awareness, no consciousness of Gods Presence.

To understand what it was that the Lord God was asking of this people, who were bearing His Name, you must read carefully, Exodus 19:1-25:40.

Exodus 2: 23-7:11, The purpose of God , in calling His People Israel out of Egypt and saving them to dwell in the promised land, as a free people with no one to depend upon but their God, who had sworn to Dwell among them and to supply all their need.

Numbers 12:3-8, Moses stood before them as God, and to speak against him was just as though they were speaking out against God, Himself.

Numbers 13:27-15:3, The land proves to be everything and more than God had declared it to be. But the Rebellious Heart of the people shows itself right from the outset, and the two edged sword of Gods Word takes its effect. The Spirit that God had placed in the heart of Moses as he stands before the people as Gods faithful servant, manifests the Love of God, and the Compassion of God and the Forgiveness of God, for their rebellion, because in His Mercy, and His forbearance, He was Looking forward to the fulfillment His Covenant Promises, to the woman in the garden and to Abraham, that when the promised Seed should come, He would wipe out all their transgression, and pardon the iniquities, of all who would believe His Word, concerning the Person of His Son and the work that He would perfect in their behalf.

Numbers 20: 6-13, The judgment of God against Moses and Aaron, for their disobedience in not paying strict attention to and obeying precisely what it is that God had simply told them to do. No matter what position we might hold before The Lord, it must be a continual walk of Obedience of Faith, in what it is that God has instructed. Self Aggrandizement, always leads to judgment, for the flesh has no place in the affairs of the Lord. Always we must learn to stop trusting in self, and defer wholly to the In-Dwelling Christ and His Spirit, for direction, for understanding, in order to have enlightenment in Spiritual matters. This is the only way of successful accomplishment to whatever endeavor, He might lead us into.

Deut. 12: 8-11a. "You shall not do at all what we are doing here today, every man doing whatever is right in his own eyes; for you have not yet come to the resting place and the inheritance which the Lord your God is giving you. When you cross the Jordan and live in the land which the Lord your God is giving you to inherit, and gives you rest from all your enemies around you so that you live in security then it shall come about that in the place the Lord your God shall choose for His name to dwell, there you shall bring all that I command you".

As long as they were under the Covenant of Law, Gods choice for their assembly and worship and celebration, with God in Their Midst was Jerusalem. Under the New Covenant, John 4: 21-26, The Lord Jesus Christ announced that where ever True Believer Gather and Worship in Spirit and in Truth, there. They, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit would Dwell in their midst. The offerings of the people under the Law, was a Lamb from the flock that God had supplied them with, The Lord Jesus Christ came as the True Lamb of God, to not only take away their, (Israel), sin, but the Sin of The Whole World. John 1: 29-36.

The True Believers Offering under the New Covenant, is the Fruit of our Lips, a Confession of Faith in behalf of the One Who was offered for us by God The Father. That is all that God requires of us, He has provided everything else. The place God has chosen in which to dwell and place His Name in this age, is in The True Church, The assembly where True Believers might find to gather throughout the world.. John 14: 23-24, And 1Cor. 3: 15-16, And Eph. 2: 17-22.

Everything that God has done is directed to the Eternal Purpose of having an Obedient, Loving, Caring family, that would emulate the Image of His Son, in Whos Image man had been created originally. He has placed Israel before the world, for several reasons, one of which was, to use them as an Object Lesson for the rest of the world of people to learn from. Deut. 8: 1-3, "All the commandment that I am commanding you today you shall be careful to do, that you may live and multiply, and go in and posses the land which the Lord swore to give to your forefathers. And you shall remember all the way that the Lord your God has led you in the wilderness these forty years, that He might humble you, testing you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not. And He humbled you and let you be hungry, and fed you with manna which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that He might make you understand that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord".

Three points that are outstanding in all of the written word of God, and that are repeatedly stressed through are, Obedience, Life, and Rest. Take notice of Ver. 15-16,"He led you through the great and terrible wilderness, with its fiery serpents and scorpions and thirsty ground where there was no water; He brought water from you you of the rock of flint. In the wilderness He fed you manna which your fathers did not know, that He might humble you you and that He might test you, to do good for you in the end". Compare 1 Cor. 10: 1-14.

Numbers 23:8-24: 24. The absolute surety of God in keeping is part of he promises to His chosen out ones, regardless of the opposition, whether they be in opposition to God Himself and His purpose or the opposition be to His people, that make up the body of Christ.

The judgment of God against disobedience, is for all people for all time, Israel being an object lesson on the stage of life, remains so until today, Num. 32:10-15, and Rom. 15: 4-13.

The Judgment is removed through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; John 3: 14-21. And Rom. 5: 16--8: 17. There came a time in the history of Israel when the land had rest from war. Joshua 11:23b, "but the sons of Israel could not drive all their enemies out of the land", Joshua 15: 63, And Chap. 16:12-13, And Chap. 18: 1-3, because they were not completely obedient to the Word of God. But in spite of all their disobedience and unfaithfulness to there commitment to obedience, Jehovah, their God remained faithful to His Covenant to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Joshua 21: 43-45.

The conclusion of it all as Joshua nears the end of his days, as a servant of God, endeavoring to fulfill Gods purpose for him and the people, which had been handed to him from Moses, Joshua 23:1-24:33. Notice the statement given to the Israelites, and later expounded by the Apostle Peter, 2 Peter 3:9. "The Lord is not slow, (Slack), about His promises, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance".

At this time in their history the Israelites are left with the twelve heads of the twelve tribes, and the priesthood, and the twenty four elders, as their leaders and have a history of about Three-Hundred and Fifty Years, known as the time of the Judges, who were to administer the law. Being of the same nature as Adam, and therefore weak in the weakness of their own sinful flesh, they had no ability to keep the precepts of the law, and so the refrain runs throughout the Book of Judges , Judges 3:12, "Now the sons of Israel again did evil in the sight of the Lord". Judges 4:1. The result of this indictment against them. Judges 21: 25 "In those days there was n king in Israel, everyone did what was right in his own eyes".

At the conclusion of this period, circumstances became so perverted in their affairs that they did just as all people of all time have done, they cried out to God, Oh God save us. And always God in His Mercy and Grace, motivated by His Love, for the world He has Created, was ready and willing and waiting for just such recognition on their part, of their hopeless, helplessness, and their need, Here-in lies the heart of the Gospel of God concerning His Son, The Lord Jesus Christ and His So great Salvation, as revealed in the New Testament. Heb. 4:16, "Let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need".

In this rebellious, selfish, self centered attitude, they demanded a king of God, just like all the nation around them had, They wanted a king that would give them some prestige, one in lavish regalia, with a lot of pomp and ceremony, so the ungodly nation would not ridicule them any more, for being ruled by an invisible Lord and god. The one they chose proved unsuitable in a very short time, and Their God gave them David, a rosy cheeked teen age shepherd boy, but he proved to be a Giant Killer, And a man after Gods own heart. He was a true Believer in the one True God, And God reconfirmed the covenant promise, of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and established Davids House, and Davids lineage as the one through whom He would bring His Messiah, the Savior into the world. It was through this Person, that the Kingdom of Heaven, The Kingdom of God here on earth would be established, all in accordance with the prayer that Jesus taught His Disciples to pattern their prayers after. "Our Father, Who is in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name, Thy Kingdom Come, on earth as it is in Heaven".

Have you ever thought, what will it be like when the Kingdom of Heaven, The Kingdom of God, Rules here on Earth. What a different place it will be, where only Truth, Integrity, Morality, Decency, Honesty, will be the normal way of life, the only acceptable way of life. In other words, The Righteousness of God in The Person of The Lord Jesus Christ, as Lord and King, will rule and reign over the affairs of people, here on This Earth. This is as it should be in the daily lives of every true believer in the world today.

When David is Anointed King of Israel, he is brought to the enlightenment, that up until that time, the people Israel, hadnt entered into and enjoyed the Rest that their God meant for them to have and enjoy in the land He had given them. And based on their passed history of disobedience, he writes in the Ninety Fifth Psalm, the words that the writer of the Book of Hebrews quotes, Fifteen Hundred Years later. This is in reference to the Finished Work and Rest of The Lord Jesus that He has made possible for all True Believers to Enter Into. Psalm 95:1-11,"O come let us sing for joy to the Lord; let is shout joyfully t the rock of our Salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving. Let us shout joyfully, to Him with Psalms, (Songs of Thanksgiving). For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods, in whose hand are the depths of the earth, the peaks of the mountains are His also. The sea is His, for it was He who made it; and His hands formed the dry land. Come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our maker. For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand. Today is you would hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts, as at Meribah, as in the day of Massah in the wilderness; when your fathers tested Me, they tried Me, though they had seen MY works. For Forty Years I loathed that generation, and said, they are a people who err in their heart and they do not know My ways. Therefore I swore in My anger, Truly they shall not enter into My Rest".

In spite of never fulfilling their appointed purpose of faithfully accepting their privileged position as Gods Sanctified, personally chosen people, and living to His Glory in the midst of the Godless nations around them, never the less God was Faithful to His Oath and His Promise, knowing before hand the faithfulness of His Son, Jesus The Christ, to keep His Word, and doing all of The Fathers Will; He sent Him forth into this world to provide complete salvation for any and all who would enter into the rest, He has provided for them.

The Writers of the Books of the section of our Bible called the New testament, under the Inspiration and enlightenment of the Holy Spirit that had come into the world on the Day of Pentecost to indwell and give New Life to all of the True Believers, record for our learning, The Truth of Gods Fulfilled Word in The Lord Jesus Christ, Gods long anticipated, and looked for, Messiah Savior. Matt. 11:25-30, Quoted here, Ver 28-30, "Come unto Me all you who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My load is light".

Due to the fact that very seldom is there ever attention called to this aspect of Gods instruction to this great and wonderful provision God has held out to the Body of Professing believers, both Old and New Testament adherents. Allow me to quote at length His presentation of this great truth as it is recorded for us by the Writer of The Book of Hebrews, 3:1-4:16, "Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider Jesus, The Apostle and High Priest of our confession. He was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was in all His house. For He has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, by just so much as the builder of the house has more honor than the house. For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.

Now Moses was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken later, but Christ was faithful as a Son over His house, whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the boast of our hope firm until the end.

Therefore just as the Holy Spirit says, Today if you hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as when they provoked Me, as in the day of trial in the wilderness, Where your fathers tried Me by testing Me, and saw My works for Forty Years.

Therefore I was angry with this generation, and said, They always go astray in their hearts; and they did not know My ways; as I swore in My wrath, They shall not enter My Rest.

Take care brethren, lest there should be in any one of you an evil, and unbelieving heart, in falling away from the living God. But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called Today, lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until the end, while it is said, Today it you hear His voice, Do not harden your heart as when they provoked Me.

For who provoked Him when they had heard? Indeed did not all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses?

And with whom was He angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness? And to whom did He swear that they should not enter His rest, but to those who were disobedient?

And so we see that they were not able to enter , because of unbelief.

Therefore, let us fear lest, while a promise remains of entering His rest, any one of you should seem to have come short of it.

For indeed we have had good news preached to us, just as they also; but the word, they heard did not profit them, because it was not united by faith in those who heard.

For we who have believed enter that rest; just as He has said, As I swore in My wrath, They shall not enter My Rest, although His works were finished from the foundation of the world.

For He has thus said somewhere concerning the seventh day, And God rested on the seventh day from all His Works; and again in this passage< They shall not enter My rest. Since therefore it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly had good news preached to them failed to enter because of disobedience.

He again fixes a certain day, Today, saying through David after so long a time just as He had said before, :Today if you hear His Voice, do not hearken your hearts. For if Joshua had given them rest, He would not have spoken of another day after that. There remains therefore a Sabbath Rest for the people of God.

For the one who has entered His Rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His.

Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall through following the same example of disobedience.

For the Word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.

Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.

For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore draw near with confidence tot he throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need".

In the light of the teaching presented throughout the religious world, we each of us need to examine our own belief structure and determine whether we have accepted all of wheat God in Jesus Christ has offered to the world or whether we are just playing games with the concept of Eternal Life.

Hear the Apostle Paul as he addresses the Galatian Body and addresses the True Believing sons after the faith, and the proper attitude toward law keeping. Gal. 3:22-4:11, His summation of it is in Verses 10-11."You observe days and months and seasons and years, I fear for you, that perhaps I have labored over you in vain".

Always there is a great deal of opposition to the freedom of the Gospel as Paul taught it, because man just cant seem to envision the freedom God offers, mankind it seem wants to have a regimented structure of practices to adhere to. This can only be due to the fact that they arent really free in the Spirit of New Life in Christ, which means that they still see themselves partially under the old law of sin and death. While under this bondage one cannot see themselves without some kind of external regimen to live by, or they go to the other extreme, and claim that since God is such a living God, He cant possibly hold anyone responsible for their actions, and so anything goes.

The question Paul posed in the Letter to the Romans, 8:32, needs to be posed strongly again with a great deal of consideration to what is being said, Ver. "He who did not spare is own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not with Him, freely give us all things"?

Just as in the creation account, all the life giving properties were embodied in the creation. So also in the New Creation in Christ Jesus, that He ushered in through the resurrection, all the eternal life reproducing and life sustaining properties, are embodied in the New Covenant in Jesus Blood. These are all the qualities, need to reproduce the Gift of Eternal Life, for and in the True Believer. Here -in lies the Mystery hidden for along ages past but revealed in these last days, Which is Christ in you the hope of glory.Col. 1:25-29, "I (Paul), was made a minister according to the stewardship from God bestowed upon me for you benefit, that I might carry out the preaching of the word of God, that is the mystery which has been hidden from the past generations; but has now been manifested to His saints, to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you the hope of glory. And we proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, that we may present every man complete in Christ. And for this purpose also I labor, striving according to His power, which mightily works within me". Also 1 Cor. 1: 30-31, "But by His doing are you in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption, that, just as it is written, Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord".

Also give attention to 11 Cor. 13:4-5, "For indeed He was crucified because of weakness, yet He live because of the power of God. For we also are weak in Him, yet we live with Him because of the power of God toward us. Test your selves to see if you are in the faith, examine yourself! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you--unless indeed you fail the test".

To any and all who would be identified with the living God, in the realm of eternal life, it only remains for each person to submit by faith, Vicariously, to the death of the old man, (descendant of Adam), that is the old man, the fleshly man, the carnal man, through the death that Jesus died to sin in our behalf, and so Reckon yourself dead to sin, but alive to God, through the resurrection of Jesus. Romans 6: 1-11.

But in that Jesus rose from the dead, never to die again, sin no longer has any dominion over Him or you the believer. In that He now lives unto God in the Power of His Resurrected Life, He live unto God Eternally. Since God has placed every true believer into Jesus, in His death, you also are in Him in His resurrection, so you to can now live in the power of this New Resurrected Life, to the Glory of God our Heavenly Father. Therefore glorify God in your Spirit and in your body, by the same power that raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. Read and Study carefully Roman Chapters, Six, Seven and Eight, until it is a living reality to you as it was to the Apostle Paul as he wrote it.
